You are going to love the timeless details and sweet moments all captured perfectly by the talented Tanarak Photography. Through his natural and vivid style, Tanarak turned all the true emotions into precious memories. Join us as we share Mizue & Roy’s touching wedding story.
Mizue & Roy’s love story
Mizue & Roy: We met in Cambridge where we both attended school and were in the same foundation class. However, soon after we started dating, we had to move to different cities for college. We made countless trips by train for an hour and a half between King’s Cross station and Leicester.
After graduation, our distance grew even further. Roy left for Hong Kong, then Mizue moved from London to Tokyo. Living in the same city might seem trivial to most couples, but it has always been our dream. Finally this dream came true after our 10th year together.
Wedding theme: Classic, vintage-inspired, a mix of UK & Hong Kong Style
Theme Colors: Gold, Pink
Best moment: Introduction by the groomsmen,”I present to you the newly married couple, Shun hei & Mizue” when all guests rung the bell.
Favorite wedding details: The invitation, graphics, jewelry, head piece, bride and bridesmaid dresses, and groomsmen ties were all handmade by the bride and her friends from Tokyo! When it all came together along with the elegant flowers, cakes, and seeing the guests smiling, it was a lovely scene we could never forget.

I’m so happy to be part of their wedding to witness all the tears of joy and true happiness during the day. Their wedding was not only a fun gathering for close family and friends, but also a day full of precious emotions.
About Tanarak Photography
Marriage is a lifetime commitment, that’s why all the things that happened on the wedding day are so precious to keep. With special training in Architecture and Art, award-winning photographer Tanarak uses an unique approach to capture every moment of love.
Fell in love with photography since he was 10, Tanarak is very sensitive to things happening around him. He believes that true emotions may happen in any second, and the only way to capture them is through continuous observation. Tanarak’s only request to his clients is to “enjoy the day, and forget about the photographer“. After seeing his work, many clients describe him as “so quiet as if he has disappeared in the ceremony, but when we look at the pictures afterwards, it’s like he was everywhere“.
